I haven’t really updated this thing in almost 2 weeks; there’s a lot i intended on saying:
I’m doing alright – still trying to figure out what I want to do, but I think that’s okay. I joined a gym last week and I’ve been going almost everyday. I never thought of myself as someone who would join a gym but now I’m locked in for a year &I’m sticking with it!
I had to take my kitty to the vet today and of course there’s something wrong – there always is. Here’s a recent picture of my old man:
I’ve had him since I was 4 & he means the world to me. He’s diabetic and has a lot of health problems because of it but he has continued to stay strong.
On a different note, I received a beautiful necklace in the mail from Sophie of ThatVintage. I’m partial to long necklaces so I put the gorgeous pendant on the sterling chain I wear everyday and this is my new fav necklace! I still need to take a picture of mine, but here’s one from her shop:
I also recently traded with Rachael from Talk2thetrees! Her hat is sooooo pretty and well made! I look ridiculous in all hats but I got it for my dear friend, Diana, and I know she is going to LOVE it! (:
Also, I’ve been busy making Earring Studs and i love them! I’ll write more about them later too . (:
one of my current faves; listen with an open mind
(the pictures take away from the song, silly.)
Love is coming home.
P.S. Brian makes music: Of This Colossal Wreck. One day they’re going to make it big.

Two days ago I wrote; “After a little struggle I’m finally getting into this book.” Which means I was finally able to get passed the first 10 pages. In two days I finished it and it was fantastic. I’m so glad I actually waited to finish it before watching the movie because I know I wouldn’t be able to erase the visuals from my memory when I sat down the novel.
I just read some reviews on amazon and most people who have seen the movie first said the book in a lot of ways is very different, so those of you who have only seen the movie – you shouldn’t let that stop you from picking this one up.
It gets intense, real fast. Some parts are gruesome, and some parts are filled with scientific destructive information that left me wondering if Palaniuk actually knows how to blow things up. Overall it was a fun experience and easy to read; since the chapters are short, I found myself saying just one more over and over until I was through it. Excellent.
I guess that means in the near future I have to pick up invisible monsters again and just have to work my way over that hump. (The beginning of that book is wayyy confusing.)
But right now I’m going to start Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut –
